My Dreams Are On Hallucinogens

So throughout my life, I've had many crazy dreams. I don't know what everyone else dreams, but sometimes I believe mine are absolutely on crack. I will just quickly tell you the two very short dreams I remember from last night. If you want to know other dreams I've had throughout my life, you can ask me later....it would make for some good coversation.

First dream from last night I remember:

-----I'm swinging from a rope above a pool of sharks. They are jumping trying to eat me while I am kicking them when I can. I'm holding onto the rope with one hand and holding something in my other. I don't know what i'm holding but I am trying to protect it for some reason.-----
I wake up, roll over and fall back asleep

Next Dream

----I'm holding this little creature in my hand. (it must be what i was trying to protect in the previous dream.) It's cold outside. I look down and notice it's a 3 inch tall little Human Cat Baby i'm holding. I approach a camping trailor that I must be living in. I put the 3 inch tall Human Cat Baby in a little box mounted on the side of the camping trailor. He is a cheerful little fella. He is hungry so I spoon feed him some Marshmallow Cream. Some gets in his eyes but he's okay. He's happy. I close him in his box and the dream comes to an end.-----

WHAT THE HECK!!

I HAVE TO WAKE UP AND GO TO WORK AFTER THAT?! I ALREADY GOT TOO MUCH GOING ON IN MY HEAD WITHOUT WORRYING ABOUT THE MEANING OF ALL THAT.

If you can interperet dreams, please let me know.

My New Car

So last Saturday evening, I end up purchasing a brand new car. It's my first new car. I traded in my Camaro and got me Honda Civic. It's quite the change but it was needed. I was hoping for $1,000 trade-in for the camaro, but I only got a whopping 500......this was mostly cause the AC was no longer functioning. In Texas, I guess that's a big deal. Other than no AC, my camaro had no radio, and no lock on the driver side door, and it was over heating. The sucky part is that I spent so much on my camaro this year but it was falling apart faster than I could fix it. The dealership is getting the better deal cause the EGR Valve was new, the door window motor was new, the brake system was rebuilt, the thermostat was replaced, the catalytic converter was new.......but still, they don't care how much work I put into it.

But my new car is great. 2007 Honda Civic EX sedan. (got the sunroof and fancy wheels)..the pics are below.

I hope you liked it. I love the color...and the ride is way smoother and quieter than the camaro.....and it's pretty zippy when I need it to be. the end

a little known interesting fact.....about me and a cave

There is an interesting fact about me...but i'm not sure of the year or date of this event...and I tried finding information about it online but there was none. It's probably kept secret to keep from scaring people away.
A few (or several) summers ago, my family went to Carlsbad Caverns because we hadn't been there since I was too young to remember. The night we got there, we watched the bats exit the cave. It was very cool. We were to go through the cave the next morning. We woke up early the next morning because we wanted to beat the crowds. We showed up before they started letting people in for the day. We waited around and we got to go in shortly behind the first of the cave guides. As we were going through we heard the cave guide ahead of us talking in is walkie talkie with a panic/excited/concerned voice. We finally get to him and there was an enormous rock that had fallen directly onto the trail...completely crushing the hand rails and blocking the path. The guide helped us safely get around the huge obstacle and we finished the tour...We seemed very much alone during the rest of the tour..it was rather pleasant.Come to find out, they had stopped letting people in for safety reasons....they needed to inspect the cave-in and see what the danger was of more rocks falling. The cave was closed the rest of the day I believe. This may not seem too interesting, but my family made history that day. Never before or since has a cave-in ever been recorded at Carlsbad Caverns, and the odds of a huge chunk of the cave falling directly onto the walking path was out of this world. And the odds that my family was a few of the dozen or so total people to enter before they discovered the rock was very very small. My family made history....we each were 1 out of 549,587,335 people worldwide who could have experienced this secret (yet highly significant) event.

#2

i'm going for a record here...i'm sure it's been beat before, but impressive none the less.......my car radio was stolen....AGAIN!!...the second time in about a year and a half......this time it was done at my workplace...in the parking lot....about 30 yards away from a huge glass wall window that allows me and everyone else to see out into the parking lot at any time of the day(and i work at ground level).....and i work next to that window...but no one saw or heard anything....someone still managed to puncture my door and rip out the lock and then pry my radio out and close the door........don't make me explain the whole alarm and radio faceplate stuff....i know now that even 30 yards away in plain view is still not safe....but i leave the justice to God....BUT THE SWEET REVENGE IS ALL MINE!!!!....ok..sorry...i will probably get no revenge.

my november 12 for 12

okay so really, i really really want to do a 12 for 12...i keep forgetting...and well, i forgot again until like 11:45pm.....i thought, forget it.....and then i thought, you know what, i'm gonna do it anyway...i didn't have anything good to take picture of seeing as how it was 11:45pm and i'm almost in bed....so i get my digital camera and just plan on taking pictures around my apartment....boring i know, but at least it's something...anyway, after taking two pictures, my camera batteries died, so i looked for these AA batteries i just knew i bought a few weeks ago...then i realized i gave them away as part of a present to someone (little zane)...he likes sucking on batteries...he's silly...he's only 1 year old....and i'm kidding..they went inside this educational puppy thingy....anyway, so then i thought i would just use my cell phone's camera so i took some pictures with me in them..but since i was ready for bed, i had few clothes on and the internet is not ready for my sexy body....so i decided i'll just have to wait yet again for December's 12 for 12.

dark friday

Friday, November 10, 2006 is a dark day in my history. My manhood was challenged, but rest assured, i am still on the track of mandom. What happened to me was merely a glitch in my life...it was not typical nor unheard of....but i never thought it would happen to me....it is only something 'others' would do, not me......
I RAN OUT OF FREAKIN GAS ON MY WAY HOME FROM WORK!...but luckily enough, i was able to sputter off of the tollway and onto royal ln....and then coast to a small uncrowded road....there, i called upon josue to rescue me...thanks josue

Thanksgiving 8 mile Turkey Trot

So two weeks ago I had a goal. The goal was to train to run the 8 mile Thanksgiving Turkey Trot. This goal would mean serious training time to be put in in just a little over a month. I happen to be in the worst shape of my life...and every second that goes by, I break my worst shape record again. My plan to reach that goal was to run every day and be generally healthy in diet and sleep.....So here is the progress....In 14 days, I have run twice......the longest run being 2 miles before I was about to pass out.....I have eaten fast food over half of the days......and I have had a miserable cold the past 4 days which will take a while to recover from enough to do any serious running.........so the big question is, CAN I POSSIBLY BE ABLE TO RUN THE TURKEY TROT IN ANY RESPECTABLE AMOUNT OF TIME?...who knows

Yosemite Pictures

On May 21-25 I was lucky enough to get to go to Yosemite National Park with Zach Nieland, Jonathan Grubbs and Jeremy Jackson.....The trip was awesome. I had been before but this time we went with a plan and desires to accomplish things...we set out to have a great time and a great time was had. We weren't afraid to wake up early or go on long hikes, or cook good food....we had it all. It's almost midnight and i'm very tired so I'm gonna quit typing soon. I would go into detail of each day but it's already being done. For the detailed story of our trip se Jonathan's Blog . For great pictures see both Zach's Picture Blog and Jeremy's Blog .

So without furthur interruption, here are just some of the wonderful picturs from our trip. They should be someone in an order...we'll see I guess.....Some are obviously photoshopped..but mostly it's mad photography skills.

taking a poll...not pole

I'm just doing some quality control on my blog. I've Had a concern that my blog text is waaay too small. It is also very small from my work computer, but i've seen my blog on other computers and it looks just fine.

How many people are experiencing very small text when viewing my blog?.....is it a browser thing?...is it a PC/Mac thing......(I think i've seen it on IE, Firefox and Safari from my computer and it all looked fine.

electricty off......then on....then eww gross

so i got home from work and the electricity was off...i got home late cause i worked late so i didn't know when it went off...several buildings were out of power....anyway, i figured it would be back on soon so i went outside to talk on the phone cause i don't really get reception in my own apartment..in the middle of freakin dallas..ridiculous sprint....anyway, i talked for an hour to guillermo and the electricity was still off....then i talked to laura for a while...still off...then zach briefly..off.....then my dad briefly...off.....then texted some people and went to zach's apartment and came back...it was still off....then i overheard someone say it has been off since 3:00 in the afternoon and the electric company was supposed to be working on it at 9:00 cause they were busy messing with power outages all over i guess....anywho, I was outside at 11:06pm when the electricity finally came back on....naturally i knew that cause everyones lights suddenly came on....but i wish my eyes had gone off cause as i'm heading back to my apartment, i glance through someone elses window and there walking around in a brightly lit room was a large naked woman just doing whatever she does.....obviously i didn't stare cause the window was only 5 feet from me....and she just wasn't my type.

More with Boiling Springs Christian Youth Camp

Besides 'stupid', is there another scientific or medical term used to describe one who uses part of a question to come up with an answer to that question when it's totally wrong.

Photobucket - Video and Image Hosting

I recently came across my Bible quiz booklet from Boiling Springs Christian Youth Camp 1990. I was 9 and this was my first year to attend. It was the best camp in the world...anyway. I was reviewing my scores for each days bible quiz and wanted to see what questions I missed....it was sad but very humorous what I saw. Below are word for word questions and answers that I bombed. enjoy.

Day 1 Question 5

Who else did Jesus say had been persecuted falsely?

My Answer: "Jesus"

Question 6

When our light shines and men see our good deeds, who will receive the praise?

My Answer: "before men"

True or False Question 6 (still day 1)

The right thing to do with a lamp is put it on its stand so it will give light to all in the house.

My Answer: False

Fill in the blanks Question 1 (day 1)

"If salt loses its saltiness, it is no longer good for anything except to be. . . .

My Answer: "no longer good"

Day 2 Question 2

What will a man be called who breaks one of the least commandments and teaches others to do the same?

My Answer: "the great in the Kingdom of heven"

Question 3 day 2 still

If you bring a gift to the altar and remember your brother has something against you, you are to leave your gift there and do what first?

My Answer: "heave your gift there in front of the alter"

Day 3 Multiple Choice 1

My Answer: [mother]

My Answer: [comb your hair]

I am proud to say that I made a 100 on the last day of Bible quiz.

THE ORIGINAL INCREDIBLES (BSCYC STYLE)

So I've been thinking it's about time that I let ya'll in on a little secret. The movie, The Incredibles, was obviously based on the adventures of my family group that I led at Boiling Springs Christian Youth Camp back in 2001. I remember vividly the day we were sitting around trying to think of names for our group. I finally thought...The Incredibles....I was very excited about the name even though the others weren't....but it was the best one thought of at the time so everyone accepted the name.....we were to be incredible(and totally awesome)....we were incredible in sports and in bible quiz/bowl. we were incredible in four square, and incredible in chapel, and incredible in friendship, and incredible at skits, and incredible at canteen.....others teams names were like, The Mustangs, or Panthers, or Goliaths...nothing too incredible. The original INCREDIBLES included: Mattie H., Melissa E., Jedidiah E., Jessica D., Britton M., C.J. G., Eric H., Unknown girl, CO Captain Michelle D., and I ((The Regulator)currently Brown Sugar)....See for yourself

Pixar has obviously perfected my idea and made it better for the big screen, but I'd like to take some unofficial credit. If you want my autograph, you know where I am.

A Sugary Update

let's see.............I still have an amazing girlfriend.....We have now been together for over a month and a week. That beats my old record of 0 days. She is the best. I don't get to see her much if at all during the week so the weekends are our time together, but I won't get to see her this weekend or next weekend so we will miss each other. I am going to Kerrville this week to go canoeing and camping with a large group laura rich is getting together. my laura can't make it to the trip because of work:(....but next weekend and the whole following week, laura is going to be in colorado. I am jelous. I will miss her but I think i'll be okay and i know she'll be happy (not to get away from me, but to be in colorado). I am still working at T.R.(thanks shea for the warning)...I put up with crap all day and am thinking of asking about a raise....i'm just trying to figure out the best way to bring that up.

here is the newest cat news...my parents have another cat....someone put her in their garage when they were gone for the weekend. Her name is Penny...she really cute and fun...but she gets a bit crazy and will bite and scratch the crap out of your hand.....but it's cool and fun...and i have a secret enjoyment of getting scratched and bitten by cats. She loves to run and fight but doesn't run away from people.....top qualities of a good cat....

i'm gonna take a nap now....there is only 30 more minutes of work.

announcment!

for those of you who don't know, I HAVE AN AMAZING GIRLFRIEND. Her name is Laura Ferrera. She went to high school with me and was my first date ever when i took her to prom my junior year (her sophomore year). we recently connected again over myspace. She has had a very exciting and sometimes stressful time since her highschool graduation, but i'll let her tell you when the opportunity comes. She is a beautiful genuine Christian girl who puts God first in everything. She currently lives in Red Oak and works in Waxahachie at a womens fitness gym.....she loves working out and so that will definately keep me working out myself when i have time. (i've become a bit lazy in that field:()... She is a wonderful person and I am honored to be her boyfriend and i'm looking forward to getting to know her and her family and friends a lot better. It has been well worth the wait:)

listerine part 2

as some of you may know, i had a listerine incident nearly a year ago...choking, burning, eyes, listerine mess all over my mirror and counter and face....not a pleasant moment....it took me a long time to forgive listerine for the outburst against me.....but things have gone well until this morning....

this past weekend, i went to the store and noticed a new listerine....it was Listerine whitening pre-brush mouth rinse......i have been using that the past few days and rather enjoyed it....this morning, i felt like i didn't need to necessarily brush...i mean, i just brushed before i went to sleep so what could be the use of brushing....i decided that after the listerine pre-brush mouthwash, i would then use the listerine normal mouthwash...both have different uses...one is for whitening (and kills germs)...the other is for killing germs and plaque which can cause gingivitis and has tartar control....i figured this would work in place of brushing just this once....

let me tell you now......do NOT do that...........everything was fine at first....i rinsed my mouth with the whitening pre-brush listerine..it was a joyous time...then i got the good ole normal listerine and started swishing it in my mouth.... then the attack began.....my mouth started burning horribly and my teeth felt like they were corroding away...they starting feeling like fine sand paper......and then my skin was buring off.....literally....i pulled a piece of skin out of my mouth....it was disturbing....i didnt' know what to do. i couldn't stand the feeling..my teeth did not feel smooth like normal...i felt i had burned through all the enamel and only brittle nubs were left in my mouth.....it didnt' seem logical but all i could think to do was then brush my teeth with my normal toothpaste...that actually helped...my teeth rebuilt their coating during my brushing...my mouth still burned for a while.. but i'm okay now

i learned once again that listerine is like a bully in the mouth....one is not so bad but when you get two together they cause all sorts of havok...my goodness..i'll never use 2 listerines in the same morning ever again.

A Morning in Downtown

on febuary 19th i got a speeding ticket.....this past weekend i decided to check the ticket and see how many more weeks i had to take care of it....little did i know, i only had 21 days to take care of it...not a few months like i thought i did..i was a week late...anyway, i call this lady at the municiple court and she says it's okay, and that if i want to take defensive driving, i should show up at the court at 6:00am and be one of the first 50 people in the morning to see the judge...then i should request defensive driving and i would pay a smaller fee and everything will be fine......so i wake up at 4:45 this morning and get ready to go to court then straight to work afterwards......i figured i would get to court at six and maybe stay about an hour or so at most depending on who happens to be there before i get there......so i go to the entrance of the court and about 4 others are there already but they are standing outside and the door is locked....it's cold..about 36 degrees i think....anyway, i just thought someone was a little late...i didnt' think anything of it....6:15 comes around and the door is still locked...6:30....locked...about 20 peole are there at this time......6:45...nobody.....finally at 7:15 they unlock the door..there are about 50 of us waiting by this time.....i should have been one of the first 5 in but they opened the door that nobody guessed would open....anyway, i got number 16 to see the judge....we are finally inside the warm...but then we are told the judge doesn't start seeing people till 7:45.....and then since i'm number 16, i have to wait another 30 minutes on top of that because it takes a very long time apparently to process the paperwork....anyway, i get out of the court room around 10:00ish and i wait in line for another 20 minutes to pay my court fee and then leave.............it was the most ridiculous waste of a morning....now i'm very tired and a huge job is supposed to come into work........but luckily i will take defensive driving within 90 days and my record will be clean....i did have to pay a 103 dollar court fee......

OH..the best part...i used all my change at the parking meter...i thought surely 2 hours will be fine....it wasn't....and now i have a $20.00 parking ticket.....maybe i should fight that one.
