let's see.............I still have an amazing girlfriend.....We have now been together for over a month and a week. That beats my old record of 0 days. She is the best. I don't get to see her much if at all during the week so the weekends are our time together, but I won't get to see her this weekend or next weekend so we will miss each other. I am going to Kerrville this week to go canoeing and camping with a large group laura rich is getting together. my laura can't make it to the trip because of work:(....but next weekend and the whole following week, laura is going to be in colorado. I am jelous. I will miss her but I think i'll be okay and i know she'll be happy (not to get away from me, but to be in colorado). I am still working at T.R.(thanks shea for the warning)...I put up with crap all day and am thinking of asking about a raise....i'm just trying to figure out the best way to bring that up.
here is the newest cat news...my parents have another cat....someone put her in their garage when they were gone for the weekend. Her name is Penny...she really cute and fun...but she gets a bit crazy and will bite and scratch the crap out of your hand.....but it's cool and fun...and i have a secret enjoyment of getting scratched and bitten by cats. She loves to run and fight but doesn't run away from people.....top qualities of a good cat....
i'm gonna take a nap now....there is only 30 more minutes of work.

announcment!
friends, romans, countrymen:
for those of you who don't know, I HAVE AN AMAZING GIRLFRIEND. Her name is Laura Ferrera. She went to high school with me and was my first date ever when i took her to prom my junior year (her sophomore year). we recently connected again over myspace. She has had a very exciting and sometimes stressful time since her highschool graduation, but i'll let her tell you when the opportunity comes. She is a beautiful genuine Christian girl who puts God first in everything. She currently lives in Red Oak and works in Waxahachie at a womens fitness gym.....she loves working out and so that will definately keep me working out myself when i have time. (i've become a bit lazy in that field:()... She is a wonderful person and I am honored to be her boyfriend and i'm looking forward to getting to know her and her family and friends a lot better. It has been well worth the wait:)
her brown sugar;)

listerine part 2
as some of you may know, i had a listerine incident nearly a year ago...choking, burning, eyes, listerine mess all over my mirror and counter and face....not a pleasant moment....it took me a long time to forgive listerine for the outburst against me.....but things have gone well until this morning....
this past weekend, i went to the store and noticed a new listerine....it was Listerine whitening pre-brush mouth rinse......i have been using that the past few days and rather enjoyed it....this morning, i felt like i didn't need to necessarily brush...i mean, i just brushed before i went to sleep so what could be the use of brushing....i decided that after the listerine pre-brush mouthwash, i would then use the listerine normal mouthwash...both have different uses...one is for whitening (and kills germs)...the other is for killing germs and plaque which can cause gingivitis and has tartar control....i figured this would work in place of brushing just this once....
let me tell you now......do NOT do that...........everything was fine at first....i rinsed my mouth with the whitening pre-brush listerine..it was a joyous time...then i got the good ole normal listerine and started swishing it in my mouth.... then the attack began.....my mouth started burning horribly and my teeth felt like they were corroding away...they starting feeling like fine sand paper......and then my skin was buring off.....literally....i pulled a piece of skin out of my mouth....it was disturbing....i didnt' know what to do. i couldn't stand the feeling..my teeth did not feel smooth like normal...i felt i had burned through all the enamel and only brittle nubs were left in my mouth.....it didnt' seem logical but all i could think to do was then brush my teeth with my normal toothpaste...that actually helped...my teeth rebuilt their coating during my brushing...my mouth still burned for a while.. but i'm okay now
i learned once again that listerine is like a bully in the mouth....one is not so bad but when you get two together they cause all sorts of havok...my goodness..i'll never use 2 listerines in the same morning ever again.

A Morning in Downtown
on febuary 19th i got a speeding ticket.....this past weekend i decided to check the ticket and see how many more weeks i had to take care of it....little did i know, i only had 21 days to take care of it...not a few months like i thought i did..i was a week late...anyway, i call this lady at the municiple court and she says it's okay, and that if i want to take defensive driving, i should show up at the court at 6:00am and be one of the first 50 people in the morning to see the judge...then i should request defensive driving and i would pay a smaller fee and everything will be fine......so i wake up at 4:45 this morning and get ready to go to court then straight to work afterwards......i figured i would get to court at six and maybe stay about an hour or so at most depending on who happens to be there before i get there......so i go to the entrance of the court and about 4 others are there already but they are standing outside and the door is locked....it's cold..about 36 degrees i think....anyway, i just thought someone was a little late...i didnt' think anything of it....6:15 comes around and the door is still locked...6:30....locked...about 20 peole are there at this time......6:45...nobody.....finally at 7:15 they unlock the door..there are about 50 of us waiting by this time.....i should have been one of the first 5 in but they opened the door that nobody guessed would open....anyway, i got number 16 to see the judge....we are finally inside the warm...but then we are told the judge doesn't start seeing people till 7:45.....and then since i'm number 16, i have to wait another 30 minutes on top of that because it takes a very long time apparently to process the paperwork....anyway, i get out of the court room around 10:00ish and i wait in line for another 20 minutes to pay my court fee and then leave.............it was the most ridiculous waste of a morning....now i'm very tired and a huge job is supposed to come into work........but luckily i will take defensive driving within 90 days and my record will be clean....i did have to pay a 103 dollar court fee......
OH..the best part...i used all my change at the parking meter...i thought surely 2 hours will be fine....it wasn't....and now i have a $20.00 parking ticket.....maybe i should fight that one.

i just don't get some people
i've been thinking today about something that really iritated me......i can not stand it when people don't acknowledge and ignore others and ignore me especially......sever instances......during the heavy rain on Sunday, a leak in our living room ceiling developed...we are on the first floor of a 3 floor building so obviously my concern is that the people above us are flooding or something....anyway, i go up and knock on their door and don't get a response...so i walk to see their window and the light is on and tv is on and i hear noise....so i knock again and no response....so i ring the doorbell and no response....so i leave..forget those bewitches...they are supposed to be our cares team also..they've never said a word to us....SO CRAPPY!
another instance....i find a 5$ bill on the ground just ouside my apartment and next to our neighbors door....it is noisy and smells like smoke so he must be having a party....i knock loudly on his door several time and no one comes to see who it is....little to they know i have 5 dollars that probably belongs to someone in that party....so i knock again and get no repsonse....IDIOTS!...i kept that 5 dollars.
yet another instance with the same girls from the first paragraph....my roommate tim is cooking a gourmet meal and he is needing to use some wine so he needs a corkscrew...we had one but is lost somewhere so tim goes to neighbors apartments and doens't get responses so he goes upstairs to the cares team apartment and knocks only to have their ignorant boyfriends answer the door in which they quickly and without any thought say "no, they don't have corkscrews"....they should all be slapped for these reasons (they are our cares team and don't answer their door, they have their boyfriends answer the door, and their boyfriends are stupid and didn't actually put in an effort to see if their girlfriends actually had a corkscrew)...sure there is a possibility they didn't have one, but please make an effort for crying out loud...i at least want an answer from the girls who actally live there....PEONS!
even another instance.......i few months ago, i did a logo for a guy my dad knows...anyway, i had him send the logo to my aparment, but after a whole week, i never got the letter....since the letter was important and contained a check, i did what anyone would do and politely went to ask my neighbors if they just happened to get mail that was supposed to go to 1201 or to Adam Brown......i get no response from two of my neighbors (but i really don't think they were home)...but the neighbor next to us was definatley home...i heard him walking around and messing with stuff....i knock at his door and no one comes...i knock louder in case he didn't hear me and no one comes....i know that he knows i'm there, but i ring the doorbell and no one freaking comes to the door...all i want is to ask a simple question....STUPID OLD HAG.
WHY DO PEOPLE HAVE TO BE LIKE THAT...IT'S ONE THING TO BE SAFE AND NOT OPEN THE DOOR TO A STRANGER, BUT THESE PEOPLE HAVE SEEN ME...THEY KNOW I LIVE NEXT TO THEM....WHY BE SO RUDE AS TO NOT ANSWER WHEN I'M AT THE DOOR...I CAN'T STAND IT....I DON'T DEMAND A LOT OF ATTENTION...sorry...i dont' demand a lot of attention, but i hate to be ignored especially when i need help....maybe that's the difference between the Christian lifestyle and non Christian lifestyle..but it's really not...treat me the way you want to be treated...for real people...i'm not gonna rob you or steal your girlfriend, or raid your home...i just need to ask a simple questions.......does anyone else feel this way where they live....is there something wrong with people these days where they don't feel they should acknowledge others in need...especially their literal neighbors....

I think a jail cell would be comfy enough
okay..so not to get off track with the california trip, but a humorous issue has come up....i still do want comments on my previous post....anyway
so i got a speeding ticket on febuary 19th....it was the first time i had been pulled over in like 5 years...but i have had a ticket before...anyway, so i put off taking care of the ticket because you know...i got time....i figured i would wait for a rainy day when there is nothing better to do.....anyway, today i remembered the ticket and thought i would check up and see how many more weeks i had to take care of it.....to my suprise, i had -1 weeks to take care of it...THE FRICKIN COURT DUE DATE WAS 6 DAYS AGO..... i only had 21 days to take care of it....i thought i had like a couple months..anyway, i'm in a pickle now....i have to wait till monday to call the court and and ask about payment (my fine could have doubled to $500 dollars which really really sucks....and i need to find out if i'm still eligible for defensive driving.....sometimes i'm so stupid...this is one of those times....it will be an embarrassing day for me(funny to you) to be arrested out of my apartment for an unpaid ticket....but at least i would have a funny story to tell...but my parents probably won't think it's funny....now i'm just nervous about the police....i will not let them take me...i will not go quietly into the night!....if you are experienced in this situation, give me some good news.

Roommates?....or more..(Roommate Reunion 2006)
okay...to the best of my knowledge were roommates and friends..nothing more, nothing less.

a few weeks ago i got a much needed break, but it was way too short. I got to go to California and have a roommate reunion. I hadn't seen jonathan and shea or travis and jeri since their weddings. i see jeremy often enough...if that was possible...anyway, it was a funfilled weekened. Just some background information. Jonathan and Shea live in N. Hollywood- he edits movie trailer, she is acting...they have a kid who is a cat named Hurley..hurley plays............travis and jeri live at Pepperdine in Malibu- he is in law school, she is taking classes and working at the school......jeremy lives in chicago and is a flight attendant for southwest, i live in dallas and work for thomas reprographics....anywho
Jeremy was able to hook me up with some sweet pink passes so i could fly to california for free, but i have to be on stand-by which is just fine with me....i left early in the morning on a friday..i had to fly from dallas to el paso, to phoenix, to burbank. Jeremy and I meet up in phoenix and eat a small lunch...we get to burbank in the early afternoon and jeri and travis are their to pick us up...that was nice...it's crazy though...my family alwasys drived everywhere...it usually takes a coulple days to get to cali.....but i got their in half a day with this space age technology called airplanes.
After we leave the airport, we meet up with shea and then go eat at In-&-Out..that was alright...then we went into hollywood and saw some theater with celebrity handprints, footprints, and signatures...some Graumman dude owned the theater or something...i dunno...i have pictures of that but i left my camera in travis' car when i left cali...who knows what's gonna be on that camera now....anyway, we also when to this hollywood wax museum...we saw a scary version of leonardo dicaprio and kate winslet from Titanic...

also a weird combination of stars...like nicolas cage and mario

after that we wend to the Guinness Book of World Records Museum...this was more fun but a little outdated....the girls made their dreams come true.

after that, we went to this mall area and there was this room that had all the oscar statuettes in these displays. they were the real things...very heavy too..i was suprised....here is a picture of some of us in front of the Brokeback Mountain Picture...

and next is our Academy Awards for best acting like we really like Brokeback Mountain

I am very tired and need to go to bed now...THIS IS TO BE CONTINUED....for real...next episode, GRUBBSIE JOINS THE FUN AFTER A HARD DAY AT WORK....more good food and good times to come ...and it's not even Saturday yet!

take a chill pill
i'm so sorry..i really am waiting on pictures....my trip is going to be old news before i'll be able to post..but i'll try to post with the same excitement and enthusiasm as when i first got back from cali..but it is funny to get more comments from a post-post rather than my real posts...maybe i should just stick with unfulfilled promises of future posts...that way i can see everyone who actually cares to read my blog..i do feel special.
here is a test. EVERYONE WHO READS THIS POST, PLEASE COMMENT BY SAYING "HI". I WANT TO SEE HOW MANY PEOPLE FOR REAL ARE AWAITING MY NEW REAL POST AND SEE WHO IS STOPPING BY FOR THE FIRST TIME.YOU CAN SAY MORE IF YOU WANT, BUT AT LEAST SAY "HI"...IT TAKES ALL OF ABOUT HALF A MINUTE TO DO.
REMEMBER, NO ONE IS TOO COOL TO JUST SAY "HI"....although this does have the feel of one of those daggum chain letters that demand you do something...but at least i have no promise of something good or bad to happen to you....the only thing that happens is that you waste 30 seconds of your time and i get excited about all the people who read this. that's all.

A new and good post is bound to happen soon...it will be full of pictures and random things...good pictures = good post...get ready for the scoop on my california weekend vacation, my thoughts about colorado part 2, airports and airplanes, my Lack-Of-A-Love-Life-And-Why-It's-Probably-My-Fault Part 9190(the number of days i've been single since birth to this exact moment of me writing this), a picture of a cat, maybe a very random Bible verse of the day (cherese:))... a new fashionable picture for my profile, and anything else you request of me. ok bye

technology hates me
so i'm just now getting around to my first job all day (it's 4:00 now and i got here at 8:00am).....this lack of work is not because it's been slow, but because technology doens't want me to stay caught up....i must always be scrambling and working my butt off to make the customers happy. i went to missourie a couple weeks ago...i was gone for 2 days and apparently work was extremely slow so my asssistant had nothing to do for those two days i was gone.....but when i get back, she gets sick....but when i'm by myself, we get slammed hard....i can't keep up...2 jobs come in i work on one....another 2 jobs come in and im now on the second job...it just builds up and builds up......well, this past friday we finally get caught up by the end of the day...caught up as in i have no jobs pending...all jobs are completed......but now it's monday and when i get back to work glad to be caught up, technology lets me down....the network is jacked up...i can't print to any printer or access important harddrives that i need to operate...the tech people come in at around 8:45 and work until after 3:00 to fix the problem...but now that it's fixed, i have 6 jobs piled up on me that i otherwise would be able to knock out as they came in......but now i have to start a new week behind on jobs again...just whe i thought i was caught up.....oh and i just realized my mail is not working now...i need to call the tech guys back i guess..........but everything will be okay....my customers like me and i always find a way to make them happy...i'm just good like that......and if things do go wrong, i can just blame my assistant...that's the best way to handle all problems.

Good movie, stupid audience
I saw Glory Road tonight..it was a good movie....you know....fun, emotional, intense, inspiring, movie about a team overcoming obstacles....can't go wrong..and it didn't go wrong...it was worth going although the people behind us seemed to try their best to make it suck for everyone else......if you are one who talks on your cell phone, or throws ice, or carries on your own conversation, laughs at unfunny parts, or leaves and comes back about 10 times, you should seriously think about eating rat poison...cause dealing with me is worse....okay okay...i didn't kill anyone but i actally had to get up and get theater security to do something about it...that's after they were already told to "sshhhh" and "shut up"...where they replied "there are 5 of us and 3 of you, what are you going to do about it".....little did their little brains know that it would have been the whole theater vs. 5 half-witted teenage thugs....(there werent' threatending me by the way..it was someone else who told them to "shut up"...but i would have backed him up fo sho......anyway....when i walked town to find theater security, the two louder trouble makers actually followed me down mocking me....if i wasn't such a nice guy, i would have wailed on them seeing as how they were saggin so low they probably couldn't run away.....but i jsut kept walking....but when i got back, the theater security came up afterwards...but everyone was quiet then so they couldn't kick anyone out of the theater.....after security left, the thickheaded thugs came back and made more noise....but eventually the whole group got up and left for good.....i dont' even know why they came.....they all wasted their parents money...i don't think they paid attention at all......anyway, i didn't let them ruin the night........go see the movie....sorry it's been so long since i've blogged....nothing much has been going on...no seriously.

New Year, Same Resolutions
well, my title says it all really. Seeing as how i didn't actually accomplish most if not all of my resolutions, i decided to keep the same ones.....like stay in shape, get a woman, keep a maintained and civilized dwelling in which to live....so if you can help me or encourage and instruct me kindly in those things, that would be spiffy....maybe this new year will have great things in store for me...hopefully i take all opportunities that come my way....oh and i just diagnosed my "..." disorder...it's my a.d.d......i don't like pausing after a sentence or thought so in order to keep moving i put ..... at the end and i continue until a start typing my next thought....luckily i've controlled it enough to not separate the same though with .... so at least i won't confuse you...i don't think ..anyway...uh....sigh-a-nora mi peeps.

What's your nickname?
Hey ya'll. I was just thinking about my nicknames and decided to give you all a brief history of my nicknames. I have had a few real nicknames in my time. These are names that were widely used for me..not just one or two people. I think a real nickname needs to meet some or all of these requirements. Created by or approved by another person who deems it an appropriate name for you to be labeled with.......it needs to be used by more than your one or two best friends.......it needs to last at least a year.......it can't just be a variation or shortened version of your real name and it can't be your middle name if you go by your middle name.............ok.....so obviously my real name Is Adam Ryan Brown......that name was given to me by my parents......Adam is not a bad name....it's not totally unique but it's not the most commonly used name.......however, when i was little, i was teased a lot....my brother and his friends would call me ADUMB! OR ADAMN!.....OR ..ADUMBO (because i had large ears as a kid....i think my ears are the same size as when i was 5..i just grew into them now.).....anyway, my brother is not that mean anymore and neither are his friends.....Andy is rather soft and docile now that he has a kid.....but back then, i was so fed up with the teasing that i decided to change my name......It happened on the way back home from some family freinds with my family....i was trying to think of a name....first i went through names you would give a pet....my parents didn't like those name....i thought Rex would be cool....glad i didn't go with that.....anyway, Someone (maybe me) though of Scout......i don't know why....it had nothing to do with boy scouts...or girl....i just thought it was nice and no one could make fun of it....so my family and i agreed on Scout as my nickname.....i was probably 8 years old when given this name and it has lasted even well into highschool......everyone would call me Scout...my parents, church family, and some friends....i will even now respond if someone calls me Scout as if it's still my name......i think my Dad and my friend Butch will still sometimes call me Scout...i think it's cool.........
While some were still calling me Scout, I was on a soccer team called the Raiders......i was the youngest and smallest on the team so my team gave me the name Keebler.......I thought this was funny and cool cause i was actually known as something.....my whole team knew me by Keebler....since most of those people went to my school, my normal school friends would call me that......i was Keebler.....this name lasted almost 3 years(6th grade through 8th grade).
then i entered high school......some of my soccer friends would still call me keebler...as well as Guillermo....however some other factors created a change in name...My brother was a Senior when I became a freshman in high school....my brother was very smart and was valedictorian........he was shorter then me and had a rounder head(or his hair made it look so).....anyway, we both played soccer that year......everyone thought they should call me Pinky and Andy was The Brain......this caught on really quickly and it became official....I went all four years in high school being called Pinky. It was funny.....people only knew me as Pinky.......when i became a junior, the freshman and some sophomores had only heard be being refered to as Pinky so they though my real name was Pinky....they never questioned it.....I responeed to pinky just as naturally as Keebler and Scout.......it was funny...occasionally someone would refer to me as my real name and others around me would seriously not know who they were talking about.......people honestly thought my name was Pinky........either that or Mrs. Brown's son....or Kara's brother.....or brother of The Brain........I bet if i were to run into any of those highschool people, they would yell PINKY!!..and then sing the song...pinky and the brain pinky and the brain...one is a genius, the other insane....
Then college time....i didnt' really have a nickname in college...at one point i was known as The Regulator......i don't really think that caught on enough to really be on my list....oh well......
But now, I am Brown Sugar......this name is fun to have....It is obviously because my last name is brown and i'm sweet as sugar....and i love to cook with and eat brown sugar.......this name is impressive to the ladies and makes the men jealous.....although this name is fairly new, i think it will last for a long time.......my closest friends call me Brown Sugar all the time.....more often than Adam......it is spreading to those others in the church as well.....even older (not too old)...people like kris wilson will call me Brown Sugar.....I even have Brown Sugar on two different Softball jerseys....Brown Sugar is definately a real nickname for the list....I wonder how long that will last......Brown Sugar even has nicknames...sometimes it's known as Sugar Brown which is cooler to use in some situations......
What are your nicknames and origins?

Thanksgiving, Zane, Turkey Soda, Big Spider, G-mo= Good Times For All
hey guys...sorry for the way past due post....Thanksgiving was a much needed break from work....I only went to my parents (about 35 minutes away) almost all weekend but i stayed as long as i could.....The best part by far was getting to hang out with my new nephew Zane all weekend...he really is the cutest, coolest baby....and he really takes after me as well so i know we will be good buddies when he gets older....take a look at how he makes fun of me already....

Once again, sister Kara did not get to see Zane so she has to wait till Christmas...but she has seem him before so i dont' feel too bad..
Now another interesting thing was added to this years thanksgiving....it was the tasting of the Jones Soda Holiday pack...with my cousins husband...brave man...

Thats right...Corn on the Cob Soda, Broccoli Casserole Soda, Smoked Salmon Pate Soda, Turkey and Gravy Soda, and Pecan Pie Soda......Now, Jones Soda is the maker of many unique and delicious flavored drinks...check out the site....but they decided to make this holiday pack....like a complete Thanksgiving dinner in Soda form....it never sounded good..but it was fun to talk about and quite the experience.....I tasted all five Sodas.....all of them were really unbelievably bad....My mom took pictures of me tasting them...but i dont' have those pics yet....anyway...it comes with a serving spoon cause that's all that you will be able to drink....if you smell the Salmon Soda, you will get sick......anyway...I do honestly recommend you give Jones normal flavors a try...their strawberry limeade and green apple sodas are really popular...
Guillermo also came home this Thanksgiving....we hung out some...and drove his truck...it's ridiculously fast....will beat you gauranteed....we saw the movie Just Friends.....it's really funny...stupid funny...but funny still......
we also put started the Christmas decorating...put the lights on the house and the big wire tree outside......but we will definatley have a big REAL tree in the house soon enough......
i leave you with this years "Spider in the Corner of the House"

bye

i suck at this title stuff
sorry..maybe harpooning your mothers was a bit harsh...but i could have thought of worse things...today started out good and quickly went to the dumps with the failure of technology..i also had my share of clumbsy mistakes which i really hate..one thing i hate worse than others stupid mistakes is my own...i would have punched myself in the face if it wouldn't hurt so bad.....anyway..i'm just looking forward to my annual camping trip..hopefully i can get off work the whole day on friday the 18th...even a weekend trip would be great. i also get to see the MLS championship match on sunday with 7 others...that will be great fun......then soon enough it will be thanksgiving and then christmas and then my birthday....all that with the addition of cooler weather....that's why late fall and early winter is my favorite time of year....so much fun packed into a short amount of time....maybe with all the good things i'll forget about the crap at work...anyway i gotta go...my head's a killin me.
oh yeah, how do you like my new blog title bar...i used real brown sugar...do ya'll have any suggestions for me...(i've already thought of me swimming in brown sugar)....if your lucky, i can make you a kick booty blog bar

i need some change
well....things are the same at work. some okay days and some days that make me want to harpoon your mother. Those days I stay away from people whenever possible so i won't harpoon them...I know, that sounds bad, but i don't think it will ever happen...i like your mom...

anyway, i'm really needing some change right now...of course living in a wilderness area and having a girlfriend and leaving the country for a couple months would be a great way to change things up, i'm talking about smaller changes....i don't feel older or more mature than i did when i started college. sure, i have a job, an apartment, and a degree, but i don't feel any wiser or experienced in life. i have no discipline in tidyness despite all the chores i grew up having to do. I know how to clean, but i just don't care...i have horrible eating habits (either nothing or fast food for breakfast and lunch)..sometimes i get a decent dinner via TND and Grace Cafe, and occasionally eating out other than fast food...i have reallized food and/or lack thereof directly affects my mood and health..of course health. I am in the worst shape of my life..although i'm still like a cheetah in short sprints (older possibly injured cheetah), I lose my energy in about 5 minutes.....like when i played basketball the other night and started seeing grey spots and vision was going within 5 minutes of playing...it's ridiculous..
anyway, i need to make some changes...i know marriage must force maturity to rise a couple levels so i have a disadvantage there, but i can make some better choices in my personal habits. I really need to make breakfast..either eat cereal or actually turn on the stove and make an egg and some bacon or something....I even bought coffee today...i need to make lunch and dinner more often...but it is very difficult to cook for one person...i don't like leftover too much..i need a few days in between eating the same thing twice.
I need to get back into shape. I don't wanna pass out playing ball with guys twice my size running circles around me...it's bad..real bad...running is boring, and so it lifting weights....so i need to play sports or something....
I need to clean my dang room...my drawers are empty and my floor is full...at least the living room is clean sometimes..and the bathroom get cleaned for company.
I also need to increase my spiritual discipline....i hardly ever read the bible...and when i do, i'm always hurrying myself so i can do something else instead. i need to pray more....for more than just my needs and wants.
anyway, as you see, i need to change a lot..i want to be someone who is admired for their balance of maturity and humor....who is disciplined enough to make good decisions with food, money, and time....who gets stuff done...even outside of paid work.
i need prayers..no seriously....i need joy...i need happiness...i like those things..but most the day i spend irritated and have said things i shalt not say(believe it or not)
so this has become almost a confession of my life...despite the great friends and family, and possessions, and gifts and experiences i have had, there is still more to gain for a more satifying life..
I'm not saying that I'm completely lost and hopeless, and that my life is going down the toilet...There are many things in my life that i'm lucky to have...There are things i love about me, and I have talents, and discipline of many things. I just want to be more than i am....i'm tired now...goodnight.

Ladies and Gentlemen, Zane Walker Brown
As of Thursday, October 6th, 5 something p.m. , I became an uncle for the first time. My brother and sister-in-law had themselves a baby named Zane Walker to expand the Brown tradition....of...expanding the Browns. Zane, being a boy follows a pattern in the family of boys. My sister broke that pattern in 1983 when she was born...She was the only girl on my dad's side of the family. I got a brother, four boy cousins, 3 or four boy 2nd cousins, my dad had two brothers, no sisters, and maybe all his cousins were guys...maybe a girl in there somewhere but you get the picture. Anyway, my mom's side of the family is all girls so that manly trend may not make it too far. I don't know all the details of genetics anymore so i shall move on.
Anyway, my mom, dad, and i went to go visit them this weekend. we decided to fly because it's cool. We left O'Brien airport on flight Cessna N5244L when it was still dark outside...nice chilly calm dark morning.

we kept of flying....it got lighter outside

the sun finally came up enough to see all the terrain

we eventually past over the Red River

and even flew over some small mountain like areas..i don't what you call them

finally after 3 hours, we were ready to land in Bentonville, Arkansas (the home of walmart and many other companies)

Andy, my brother, picked us up from the airport and took us to their place...only about 10-15 minutes away. We were very excited to meet our new family member. We stayed with them all day...we talked, examined the baby, took lots of pictures, ate, and slept and held the baby more, and ate more....it was a fun time. Zane really is a cute little baby with the funniest cry... The bottom part of his mouth will shake really fast when he cries....sort of like a daffy duck laugh...but not the duck sound...anyway, zane pretty much slept the whole time were were there...occasionally he opened his eyes long enough for a picture...but usually he was upset if he opened his eyes because he would cry...it was tricky finding a time when his eyes were open and he wasn't crying at the same time....i did get some good pictures of him. I do wish Kara could have been there on this trip. I almost feel bad that I got to see the baby before her. She is a girl, and this is an emotional time for her. I think she wants one of her own or something..she cried when she heard about zane being born....i guess it was a happy cry. anyway, here are some picture of zane.

Zane's supposedly very large hands and feet

Zane with mommy and daddy

Zane with Papa and (I forget what my mom wants to be called)

Zane with me

Zane with Kara and Zach (neither who could not make it)

After our exciting trip, we headed back home..I just listened to my ipod and slep...it was very cool..and cold...but i was okay..we are all okay.
